The first leg of Heat 8 was also an extremely quiet affair with only two cars completing laps, and one of them only scored one lap! However, it was significant that Queen Elizabeth's School took advantage of the emprty track to post a heat winning score. Frustratingly for them, a couple of minor driving errors came back to haunt them as they missed out on qualification for the GP Final by half a second.

The second leg was much more lively, although the result was the same with another comfortable win for Queen Elizabeth's with their attractive convertible. Competition was provided by All Hallows, Foxwood and Ranleagh.
