Having completed nearly 100 laps in their two heats and the two Grand Prix finals, Kirk Hallam decided it was time for a change and started the final Grand Prix with their spare car. If the other teams thought that was a sign of weakness they were mistaken.

The Kirk Hallam 'T' car seemed every bit as invincible as the original version and skated through the race, winning by a massive seven laps, a result which would later confirm Kirk Hallam as 2004 Formula Schools champions.

Fourteen cars completed laps in the final race, giving the large crowd one last thrilling specatacle. One of the more interesting performances was that of rookies St Dunstan who capped an excellent campaign with second place, just pipping Pennsnett.
